Make your own Stocking Stuffers - Tasty Nuts

< Back to List of Homemade Stocking Stuffers

Give 'em some nuts.

All it takes is some nice wrapping on your part to dress up some nuts as a gift. Take cues from gift companies and gourmet stores as you consider ways to package your gift. Ideas include:
  1. A cellophane bag (either fold over the top or gather and tie with ribbon); try adding a homemade label
  2. A small tin
  3. A jar with a decorated lid
  4. A scrap of festive fabric, tied around a plastic bag of nuts by gathering at the top
Take the idea one step further by spicing or candying your nuts. Here's one recipe idea:

Candied Nuts Preheat oven to 325. Mix eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form. Mix in nuts. Pour butter in a baking pan and add nut mixture. Bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
